“Ed Wood” is currently playing on the Logo Channel. Making me jump back into my all-time everlasting love for this movie.
Arguably the last good thing Tim Burton has ever directed, by absolutely no coincidence that it contains not a shred of CGI and focuses more on a character than a gimmick or a color scheme (unless you count a black and white composition, the antithesis of color as one).
It caters to my filmmaking, B-movie nerd, Johnny Depp and Bill Murray-enthusiast, good film-loving core. But more importantly it just gives me hope. I couldn’t love it any more.
